Time. . . . I don’t know about you, but I’m looking for the silver lining in all of this. I feel like I’ve been given a gift of time, which on a normal day, there’s never enough of. Like all of us, I’m always racing against the clock to get life and work tasks checked off my list, hurrying from one thing to the next with very little time for pause. This has been a reset. A perspective change. And, honestly I’m appreciating it. I’m sad for all of the sickness and hardships and praying that this comes to an end very soon. But for now, I am going to look for the good and find joy in the midst. I think we all should. . . . . . * Meals out on the fly have turned into meals in with the entire family at home. * Our neighborhood community has come together for the greater good and spread joy. So much creativity and joy. * Quick 1 hour workouts in a gym or studio have turned into long 2 hour trail hikes outdoors with my lab. * The (not-so-pressing, but important to me) items on my To Do list for over a year are slowly turning into check marks. * A good image hosting gallery is turning into an amazing and more beautiful image hosting gallery with more options and products for my clients, which I’ll be able to reveal soon and start using with my first shoots after this is all over. * Nights filled with work have turned into me being able to watch some tv shows (rare occurrence for me). * The pressures of the school year have turned into a calm in my kids that I can see and feel. * The promise of tomorrow turned on a dime into let’s all be so thankful for what we have today.

I’ve always said that Planners are worth their weight in gold and will be the most important investment we make when our daughter Olivia gets married one day. Now more than ever I believe that. I’m so grateful for the planners and vendors I partner with and the way they take care of our brides, especially during this unprecedented time in the event and wedding industry. It’s an honor to work alongside these professionals who are tirelessly rallying and pivoting many moving parts again this week to insure you will still have the wedding of your dreams.

Forced family photos today (insert evil mom laugh) since I have my teenagers trapped at home. They give me 2.5 minutes before announcing “We’re done”. Thanks to our neighbor @southernswingco for our porch swing that we’ve enjoyed for several years.
