I was so excited to finally meet Mary Wesley & Bradley (and her sweet parents) a few weeks ago for their Engagement Session at her parent’s ranch in Birmingham, AL. We connected over our love for the University of Alabama. I can’t wait for their fall wedding; and, of course, as all true southerners do, they considered the football schedule. It’s not on a Saturday home game. Roll Tide! 🙂 Can’t wait to spend the day with these two on October 5th. It’s going to be so much fun. I love them already!
The day after Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing Maria and Matt’s Engagement Session, and y’all they are so sweet and full of joy! Since they are both from Birmingham, they requested iconic city spots to be included in the images as part of their story, so we strolled all over downtown as they laughed and snuggled. And, we had the most perfect December day…sunny and unseasonably warm!
I can’t wait for their December 14, 2019 wedding at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and Vestavia Country Club. It’s going to be a fun one!
I love to travel and explore cities in the name of work. I haven’t been to Memphis since college, and I would be shooting on three different occasions in Memphis for Mary Lauren and Michael’s portraits and wedding, I decided to head over the day before their Engagement Session to get reacquainted with this cool southern city and Home of the Blues.
Mary Lauren and Michael are both from Memphis, so it was important to them that I capture some of the iconic locations in their Engagement Session like the pyramid, M Bridge, Peabody Hotel and Beale Street Landing. We also strolled the beautiful gardens at Memphis Botanic.
The thing I love most about an Engagement Session is the opportunity for me to get to know the couple better before their wedding day. I can’t wait to go back for Mary Lauren’s bridals at her family’s home in June and their wedding day in July. For now, let’s go walking in Memphis with this fun couple…
I could hardly wait to share Caroline and Luke’s images with you. I enjoyed getting to know them better while we walked around Oak Mountain State Park on a beautiful May afternoon. They didn’t need any direction from me, because the way they looked at, and talked to each other, was enough for every image to speak volumes about their love and adoration. I’m thrilled about photographing Caroline’s bridal session in a few weeks and then her wedding day in July!
