Birmingham wedding venues

Jane Elizabeth and Taylor’s Rehearsal Dinner started with family portraits in the Elyton Hotel’s gorgeous lobby (I’m a little obsessed with its blue walls.) Then, champagne and a sunset view of Birmingham at Moon Shine, the rooftop lounge at the top of the Elyton. Everyone enjoyed a delicious, candlit dinner seated at tables with monogrammed napkins and beautiful florals at Café DuPont. We left with full stomachs and full hearts. Guests parted with a monogrammed gift box of roasted pecans from the groom’s family ranch in Arkansas.

I’m so excited to share the images from John and Leslie’s Rehearsal Dinner at Regions Field, home of the Birmingham Barons. It was my first time shooting an event there and I was so impressed! What a fabulous venue with amazing 360 degree views of The Magic City!

It was a perfect night of family and dear friends celebrating John and Leslie, telling stories from childhood with laughter and tears. I left that night with the warm fuzzies from all the loving words spoken about this sweet couple. The consistent theme of everyone’s speeches…John and Leslie are loyal, self sacrificing and thoughtful. What wonderful qualities to have spoken about you, and especially before your wedding day, because those qualities will serve them so well in marriage!

As we were leaving the dinner I just had to stop and capture one of Birmingham’s newer attractions and it’s changing light show…I love this sign and think it adds so much to our cityscape…
