Homewood Cottage by Twin Construction [Featured in B Metro, September 2016 Issue]

It’s always a privilege to shoot a Twin Construction home…they are such great people, who do quality work and have fun while they are doing it. I’m always inspired and walk away wanting to use some elements in my own home…whether it’s unique hardware, gorgeous paint colors, interesting light fixtures or sleek modern lucite counter stools, there’s always a “take home” idea. It’s all in the details. This beautiful Homewood, Alabama cottage is no exception and it’s featured in the September issue of B Metro Magazine. Enjoy!

Published in B-Metro Magazine’s November 2013 Issue

In addition to a feature story in the November issue of Birmingham Magazine, I just found out today that one of my images was chosen as the “One Shot, City Through The Lens” image in the November issue of B-Metro Magazine. I’m thrilled and incredibly grateful to have published work in my hometown’s two major magazines in the same month. Somebody pinch me! But, much more important than this photo being published, is the story behind it. Children’s of Alabama is a very special place and does amazing things for sick kids in Alabama and beyond. I’d like to say thank you to the people who believe in my work and allow me to capture theirs. It’s really a dream come true. I love Birmingham.

B-Metro Magazine Cutest Baby Contest

B Metro Magazine held a contest for their Cutest Baby article in the current May issue. I posted on my Facebook page for clients to let me know if they wanted me to enter a photo I had taken of their baby. My sweet and long-time client Kimberly wanted to enter her ADORABLE daughter, Allie. Much to our excitement, not only did Allie make the article, she made the title page! Isn’t she a doll!!

And, I’m a teeny bit excited to have my images in both Birmingham Magazine and B Metro Magazine in the same month! Being published is always a compliment for which I am always grateful.
