The light in Balboa Park’s Botanical Building was bouncing all around us. I wished I had bottled it up and saved it for today. I’ve always said that Planners are worth their weight in gold and will be the most important investment we make when our daughter Olivia gets married one day. Now more than ever I believe that. I’m so grateful for the planners and vendors I partner with and the way they take care of our brides, especially during this unprecedented time in the event and wedding industry. It’s an honor to work alongside these professionals who are tirelessly rallying and pivoting many moving parts again this week to insure you will still have the wedding of your dreams.

Forced family photos today (insert evil mom laugh) since I have my teenagers trapped at home. They give me 2.5 minutes before announcing “We’re done”. Thanks to our neighbor @southernswingco for our porch swing that we’ve enjoyed for several years. I missed St. Patrick’s Day completely. My mind was on other things. So here’s a little green a day late. ☘️ “May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. I’m committed to be a calm and accommodating partner for my spring brides and planners who are navigating this unfamiliar territory with the utmost grace and professionalism. Brides, I know you might feel overwhelmed right now, but I’m confident in the planners and vendors I work with and know they will work tirelessly to rally and take care of you. And, please know that you are the priority on my calendar, you will still have a beautiful day to marry the love of your life and I will be right there by your side to document it all. In the meantime, don’t let this virus win by stealing your joy. There’s still so much joy.
