NEW FOR FALL 2013! With my background in graphic design, I’m always on the lookout for new and unique printed products that better suit the needs and personal style of my clients. So, today, I’m announcing a new online partnership for holiday cards, save the dates, invitations and more! And, not just any cards and invitations…these are the most creative ones I’ve seen available for online purchase, and I’m so thrilled to offer them to my Clients, Facebook and Twitter followers. The use of colors and typefaces, along with luxuriously thick paper stocks make them truly amazing. And, lots of cards with full bleed images (which you know are my favorite kind!) See for yourself at http://www.heatherdurhamphotography.minted.com/ or click on the screenshot below. You can use the “2013 Holiday Cards” link on my website. Go ahead, check it off your list as 2013 being your best Christmas card ever!
I like change. Change is exciting, especially when you are a very visual person and creating something feels almost as important as breathing. I like change in my home decor, my clothes, my shoes, my music and my workouts…but my business identity is not something I want to change often. However, 2012 brought some new and exciting changes to the content of what I was shooting. In addition to my core business of portraits, in 2012 I second shot more weddings than ever and added national sports events to my portfolio, with more to come in 2013. After 10 years of the same logo, it was looking tired and did not represent my personal style or the style of my photography anymore; so I decided it was the perfect time to make a change.
I asked my talented friend Holly Hollon for her help because I knew she could create something from the ideas and styles that were swirling around in my head. I wanted a modern, clean look, playing off my initials, while keeping the same color palette . Turquoise has always been my favorite color because it reminds me of the beach. Just like the ocean water, it’s a place for my eyes to rest and makes me relaxed and happy…exactly how I want my clients to feel when I photograph them!
Here’s to a new year and a new look…cheers!

With my background in graphic design, I’ve always loved fine stationary, invitations, paper products and all the many ways photography can be used creatively with them. So, I am thrilled to announce that as of this fall, I have partnered with a quality printing company to offer you these products. You can now purchase all of your fine stationary, invitations and photo cards directly from my Heather Durham Photography website…and not just at Christmas! I’m so excited about this because I am able to offer my clients, friends and family many of the choices you would find at other local fine stationary retailers, but with the convenience of online shopping and ordering directly from the printer…the same printer that prints for the local and online retailers. Shop for designs from quality lines such as Stacy Claire Boyd, Little Lamb Designs, PicMe!, Putnam House, Take Note, Modern Posh and more.
Christmas cards are a separate transaction from your Heather Durham Photography print order, because I fulfill your prints, but my printing company fulfills stationary, invitations and Christmas cards. Purchase your digital image with usage rights. Once you receive your digital image from me, you can log onto the site, choose your design, upload your digital photo image (or choose a style where you add your own 4×6 prints), then specify your greeting and ink color. Once your order is placed and charged to your credit card online, your order will be shipped directly to you. It’s that simple and you can shop for any occasion or holiday!
So, when you are considering your Christmas cards, return address stickers, and other holiday cards and stationary this year, please check out this new addition to my website. There are many designs styles – from modern, whimsical and traditional, to everything in between. Right now all holiday photo cards are 15% though November 18th at midnight. Click here when you are ready to shop. You can also go to my website and click on the link at the top “2012 holiday cards”.

Here they are! The new Christmas Card Designs for 2011! I hope you will be as excited about them as I am!! I think they are super cute!
There are two types of designs 1) Luxe and 2) Non-Luxe. Luxe cards are boutique cards that have die cute designs such as ornate edges, rounded corners and shapes in 5×7 and 5×5 sizes. Non-Luxe cards are standard 5×7 rectangle. (Please refer to your Investment Guide provided with your online proofing gallery for the pricing difference.) As always, cards come in sets of 25. Custom card design services are also still available if you are looking for that one-of-a-kind card with minimal art, where the photographic images become the art.
Please call, email or make an appointment to order your Christmas cards.
Note: I used the vendor’s images so as not to use yours and spoil the surprise of your friends and family seeing it the first time when they get it in the mail! 🙂
NON-LUXE [STANDARD] DESIGNS:
Here are two more new Christmas card designs I am offering. I love the bright, fun colors!
Yes, it’s time to be thinking about Christmas cards! I know it’s only October, but it will be December before we know it because we are all so busy, busy, busy! I haven’t even photographed my own children yet for our cards! It always sneaks up on me! You know what they say about the cobbler’s children…
I’m trying something new this year! Until now, I have only offered custom designed Christmas cards. After you chose the image(s) you wanted to use and gave me what you wanted to say, I designed a card specifically for you based on your individual style, as well as the look and feel of the images you chose. It has always been important to me for my clients’ cards to be one of a kind and special. You still have that option, but for Christmas 2010 I am also offering pre-designed card options. I’m especially excited about the new ornate and scalloped die cut cards. They are so beautiful and perfect for your heirloom style sessions! Another new product I’m offering is return address stickers to match your cards! Take a peek at the card designs below, but keep in mind, you can still adjust colors and change wording to your preferences when it comes time to place your order. In the meantime, start making your Christmas card list and checking it twice! Orders must be placed by November 15th, which means I’ve got to stop blogging tonight and get to editing…
