Janie + Matthew
This wedding design was fresh, colorful and happy, just like this June bride, Janie. She married her groom Matthew at her family’s country club, just around the corner from their home, which was originally her grandmother’s. Since it’s a very special home that holds so many memories, we photographed part of their Engagement Shoot there. On her wedding day, Janie stepped into her dress in the bedroom and had her First Look on the front lawn under the large oak tree. She and her mom strolled through the yellow daffodils that Janie’s grandmother had planted when she lived there. Homes are so much a part of our stories and the ways we connect. It’s always special when brides want to include them in their wedding day moments and images. It makes my heart happy. This wedding gave me all the beachy feels with its wicker lanterns, colorful florals, linen sofas and a color palette of blue and white. Loved it!
