I’m so happy to finally share this fall portrait session! It’s one of my favorite to date! I first met Nikki when she hired me to do some headshots of her…which turned into a full session. Then I asked her to be in an advertising shoot. I love having her in front of my camera. She’s beautiful inside and out! So, when she messaged me that she wanted a fall shoot with her boyfriend, beloved horse Rocky and dog Lunabella at the nearby horse farm where Rocky is boarded, I couldn’t say yes quick enough. She also shared with me her sweet adoption story that brought her to the U.S. when she was young and how Rocky has been with her through so much, including her move to Franklin from Long Island, New York. After our session, Nikki dropped a gift and heartfelt note off on my porch. Her words reminded me again that my job is so much more than just about the perfect portrait. It’s about listening to people, making them feel important and beautiful and telling their story in a way so that you can feel a connection to what and who matters most to them.
