While living in Birmingham, we rarely had snow for photo shoots in its pristine white powder, and when we did, it was mostly ice and just too hilly and dangerous to get anywhere with my camera. Since moving here to Franklin, TN, I’ve hoped for more opportunities to shoot in the snow since my neighborhood is mostly flat with beautiful parks, creeks and farms nearby. I got my first opportunity yesterday. It looked like a winter wonderland here. Temperatures were in the teens, but Anna and I braved the cold to have a little fun. And oooooh how I loved the light from all that white. Snow is the perfect natural reflector!
When Anna walked up to meet me with her crystal blue eyes, wearing a cute CC beanie and the perfect pink lips to match her Hunter booties, I knew it was going to be a really great shoot.
