Angel and I have known each other for years. She’s one of those people who you meet for the first time and she makes you feel like you’ve known each other forever. Her smile is infectious and her personality endearing. So, it’s no surprise that she and Jared ended up together. He’s one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and he’s never met a stranger. They both love to travel and are so full of life.
Angel graciously gives me some credit for she and Jared meeting, and it’s fun to think that I had a small part in their sweet union. This lovely June wedding was held at their friends’ beautiful Mountain Brook estate. The intimate back yard ceremony was perfect and their nuptials were exchanged overlooking the city of Birmingham, with a view of Vulcan in the distance. The reception afterwards was at James Beard award winner, Chef Chris Hastings’ newest restaurant, Ovenbird. It was the first wedding reception held at Ovenbird and discerning guests were treated with delicious and beautifully presented bites.
