I can’t say enough sweet things about Katy and Matt. This beautiful couple was a delight to work with! Katy was super organized and had every detail thought through and planned out. We all hoped the beautiful sunshine we had been enjoying would stick around all day. Instead, it came a downpour in the middle of the hand written vows they were exchanging under the arbor that Matt had created and set up on site for them. Although disappointing that the vows had to be completed inside the hotel hallway and the reception had to be moved and reset inside, Katy and Matt handled it with such poise, grace and a sense of humor. After all, rain IS good luck on your wedding day! And, right before the storm, a beautiful rainbow appeared over the golf course to remind us of God’s promises and the hope we have in him. I saw it as a a little sign of blessing over this marriage covenant.
Here are the images to tell their wedding day story…
Katy surprised Matt and say Etta James’ “At Last” to him at their reception. I got chills. It was amazing!
