Emily & Clayton’s was the first wedding I’ve photographed at Covenant Presbyterian Church, which is the church where I got married 18 years ago and where my kids attended preschool. It’s such a special place to our family and being there felt like coming home. From the lovely hand calligraphy on the invitations, to Emily’s gorgeous ring and the belted tulle layer of her dress…everything was simply gorgeous. After the ceremony I had the privilege of capturing this beautiful couple at Railroad Park with the city skyline rising behind them just before sunset, and ending the night at B&A Warehouse. There was an amazing team of vendors, including wedding gown by Olia Zavozina and Bridesmaids dresses by Monique Lhuillier from Carriage House Weddings, floral design by Lillie’s, and cakes by Edgar’s Bakery…just to name a few.
