John and I met on the rooftop of Children’s Hospital. Yes, I did say the rooftop. He owns a window washing company called Squeegee Cleaning Services, and was at the hospital for an event I was shooting. His team of window washers dressed up as super heroes and dropped down in front of patient waiting rooms to spread a little joy. It was one of those days where my cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so much. It was the coolest thing for those sick kids and their families. You can read more about that story here. After meeting John on the roof, a few days later I got an email and then a phone call from his fiancé, Leslie, about shooting their wedding. We immediately hit it off and I felt like I had known her forever.
Their wedding weekend was so much fun with the rehearsal dinner at Regions Field and wedding reception at The Club. I was blessed to witness John and Leslie’s love for each other and the loyalty and adoration of their family and friends. And, Italians know how to have fun and throw a really great party, as you will see in the reception images.
The best of wishes to John and Leslie for a happy, healthy and beautiful life together. Thank you for wanting me to be a part of your wedding day! Here are some of my favorite images…
