A few months ago I second shot Kerrie and Jon’s wedding with my friend Stacy Richardson. The wedding was held on Memorial weekend at the home where Kerrie grew up. The family’s Vestavia estate was picturesque, with it’s sprawling green lawn and amazing views of the city from it’s perch atop the crest.
Stacy did a beautiful job of blogging an overview of the entire wedding, so I’d like to share with you a few “behind the scenes moments”, which are always some of my favorites to capture. Best wishes to Kerrie and Jon. I enjoyed spending the day with you and watching your story unfold from behind my camera.
I love meaningful details at weddings. Jon is in vet school at Auburn, so his tie had dogs on it. Cute!
Kerrie’s niece was absolutely precious! I loved watching her take it all in!I grabbed this image while the kids were waiting patiently over to the side for their turn to be in the formal shots.
Ladies in waiting…
Kerrie’s nephew had the very important job of handing them their rings.
Checking out his ring after being pronounced husband and wife.
Since Kerrie and Jon’s wedding was held on Memorial weekend, I just had to get a shot of them with the flag to document their holiday wedding.
And, we were blessed with an amazing sunset right at cake cutting time!
