At the beginning of February, my friends at Soca Girl, a tween fashion boutique in Homewood, AL, partnered with me to do a Casting Call contest on Facebook. Over 100 girls entered our contest and there were 8 winners of various ages chosen to be in our photo shoot.
The weather has been bad all winter…lots of dreary rain and cold, so when the forecast called for sunny, 71 degrees and breezy on our shoot day, I wanted to jump for joy! In fact, I think I did do my own little celebration dance! The shoot took place last weekend and I had a great time getting to know these adorable girls and their moms, who were such a pleasure to work with! I think the girls had a great time too, getting their hair and makeup styled, while prancing around Homewood in the coolest clothes in town! Even the storefront sidewalk got all dressed up for the occasion…
