Play Ball!

This week I put on my baseball cap (figuratively speaking of course, since it’s hard to shoot with one of those on) and went to Regions Park to cover the SEC Baseball Tournament. I’m not there as a sports shooter, but rather to capture the fun of the event for my partnership with Bruno Event Team. I always love a new shooting adventure, and the opportunity to work outside in gorgeous weather! If you aren’t headed to the lake or the beach and need something fun to do over Memorial weekend, head on over to the tournament. It’s fun for the whole family!

Here are some highlight images from this week. I love my job! I get to photograph babies, brides and now…baseball!

(Above) Look inside the brim of the hat on the kid drinking the Coke…”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13. Smart kid!

(Above) For this shot and some others, I was raised up in a hydraulic lift behind the fence over the center of the outfield to get a birds eye view. Fun!

(Above and Below) These little guys were an Oak Mountain team who got the opportunity to go out on the field for the National Anthem before the Auburn vs. Georgia game.

(Above) One of my favorite things about going to a baseball game when I was a little girl? Ice cream in a batter’s helmet of course!

(Above and Below) This guy was a character. I think he got to know every person in the stadium before the day was over!

(Below) LSU fans travel for their team and know how to have a good time! These nice people fed me dinner when I was walking around shooting. They wouldn’t take no for an answer…even when they found out I was an Alabama graduate!
