The Dill, Zaragoza and Stewart Families

These families are very special to me. Brooke and I have been dear friends since high school and we’ve been through so many phases of life together — high school activities, dating, weddings, babies, etc. — the ups and the downs. So, Brooke’s parents, Diane and Jimmy, are like second parents to me after all the sleepovers and beach trips growing up! These are the people that just know you and get you and you are thankful to have them in your life. So, it was a very special opportunity for me to capture their generations of blessings.

It was a perfect display of fall color at Aldridge Gardens that Sunday, and the perfect temperature. However, all of Birmingham had the same idea and there were people everywhere! So, occasionally we had a few random strangers step in the backgrounds of our photos; but an easy fix in Photoshop when they decide on which ones they want.

There is a blessing we’ve said for years at Briarwood Church and I pray this blessing on these sweet families…

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
and give you peace.

Here are a few of my favorite images from our session…
