Stephanie emailed me a few months ago to set up a time to photograph her precious family again and I was thrilled. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with Stephanie and her two adorable boys! We’ve been friends with she and her husband Chris for years. Stephanie and I first met when we worked together years ago, we used to be in the same Sunday School class at church and now our kids are at the same schools. There are so many connections that God just meant for us to be friends! 🙂
John David was two when I last photographed him and since he’s turned three his personality has blossomed and he is a little ham! He gave us some good laughs and his big brother Christopher just tolerated his schemes. Christopher loves baseball and demonstrated his really good arm when he picked up a rock and threw it from far away into the pond!
This session was so fun because I was able to capture boys just being boys! Playing in the dirt, jumping down steps and tackling each other…that’s just what brothers do!
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love these! Can I tell you how much I love these! I love when people don’t “overdress” for their pictures. (I love the garden shots, too), but it’s so nice to just see these relaxed, “real” poses. They will cherish these forever because you captured them so naturally and so perfectly in the stage they’re in. You are so talented, Heather!
Thank you for your sweet comments Laura! I do love to capture personalities and connections! 🙂
Heather, as always you capture my boys so perfectly. Many of these expressions are characteristic of them on a daily basis. These pictures tell a story of the miracle of each of their lives and the blessing that they are to us as parents and to one another. You are truly talented- thank you for sharing your talent with us.
