2 week old Morgan

I had the joy of photographing 2 week old Morgan last weekend. One of the first things Erin said to me when she called to me to set up the session was, “I don’t like a lot of props.” At that point I knew we would get along just fine! We did most of the shots in her beautiful cream and white nursery and Morgan was adorable and so cooperative with us. I was amazed at her parents, Erin and Taylor, because they were so calm and relaxed to be first-time parents! I’m so happy for them and grateful they asked me to capture these precious early days at home with their new baby girl. There are so many wonderful days ahead for their family. I can’t wait to see Morgan grow up. I love meeting new families. That’s the best part of my job!

Taylor, Erin, Morgan, Maggie and Bella - one big happy family! There's a funny story behind this image. I kept trying to get both dogs to look at the camera. The little white one, Bella, kept looking off so I kept calling her name and making sounds at her to get her to look at me. Finally Taylor and Erin told me that she's deaf! I'm glad they finally told me so I could quit making a fool of myself! We all got a good laugh at my expense. 😉
