The Chapman Family

Meet the Chapman Family. Bronwyne and I shared an office when we worked together at Vulcan Publications years ago. She would probably tell you that I ran a space heater in there non stop and it felt like a sauna. Every time someone came in our office they started sweating and had to leave! It was a great way to keep people out so we could get our work done! 🙂 Actually we were on the bottom floor of the building and my feet were always cold! I had this fear that I would accidentally leave the space heater on when I left work on Friday and it would be all over the news that I burned the building down! Never happened though…thank goodness! Anyway, we had a good time being office mates and making lunch runs to the little burrito place down the street.

I photographed Bronwyne’s boys when they were itty bitty and I was so excited to get to be with them again now that little Callie has joined her brothers. What a sweet and beautiful family! And, as a bonus, Bronwyne’s parents were in town from North Carolina so they stopped by to get in a few shots with the grandkids.

  1. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous colors!!! Leave a tip on your blog about the best times during the day to shoot right now.

    1. Laura – You asked about the time of day to shoot right now. This session was done at 9:00 a.m. at BBG. Mornings between 8 and 10 and afternoons between 2 and 5 are always the best. Look for sufficient shade with indirect light and it’s perfect! Good examples are under a big tree (like in this session), covered porches, doorways, etc. Hope this helps!

  2. Wow! Becky and Jerry look great! Of course the children are beautiful, as are their parents. I loved the natuaral look to everything. Especially the little ones in the trees. Can Callie’s eyes bee any more blue? Gorgeous.

  3. Great pictures! Love the colors. It looks like it was a beautiful day. Bronwyne & the fam look great ~ so photogenic! Aunt Becky and Uncle Jerry look great as always.
