Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the Dogan family again. We had a session together last spring at Aldridge Gardens and this time they decided to meet at the BBG for their Christmas card shots.
Little Hardy wasn’t too into having his picture made so we had to chase him down and put him on some shoulders or hold him upside down for the shot or he was off and running again. Three year olds are just always busy exploring. If you said War Eagle to Weldon it made him laugh because he’s a smart kid and roots for the Crimson Tide! 🙂
We had a beautiful afternoon, even though it was hotter than we had hoped. The boys had on adorable polo sweaters but by the end of our session they were stripping them off and putting on their t-shirts to be more comfortable to play in an open grassy area with a ball I brought along. I kept shooting while they played with their sweet “Gran” who came along. Oftentimes it’s the unplanned, unscripted moments that really are the special captures!
There is so much LIFE and movement in these pictures. They are amazing! Love that you captured those “really real” moments. I know they will treasure these.
